The conference will kick off with our annual International Potluck Dinner in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite international dish to share (in a disposable container). Following dinner, we will gather together to worship and hear from our speaker, Dr. Lloyd Kim (Coordinator of Mission to the World, the sending agency of the Presbyterian Church in America) as he preaches the first of two sessions on “Is it Worth it?” in the Sanctuary. After our session, the exhibit hall and kids’ passport station will be open in the Commons area. Stop by and visit our Global Partners! Kids will eat upstairs with their families and then come down to Kids Ministry for their own event. Nursery is available.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22
On Sunday morning during our normal worship services, Dr. Lloyd Kim will preach the second session on the conference theme, “Is it Worth it?” We hear updates from our Global Partners in all three worship services as well as in our Sunday School communities at 9:45. In the evening, enjoy the opportunity to share a meal and visit Global Partners in a more relaxed context in our regular meeting Community Groups around town. No registration is needed.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23

On Monday our senior adult ministry, PrimeTime, will hear from several of our Global Partners over a catered lunch in the Fellowship Hall. In the evening, men will meet at a 13 Stripes Brewery and Lloyd Kim will speak to the men. This is a great time for men in our congregation to connect with one another. Appetizers will be provided; additional items will be paid for by the individual. Registration is required for both of these events.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24
**Registration Deadline for the Tuesday Women’s Event is Thursday, February 19**
On Tuesday, our Global Partners will be participating in regularly scheduled church events throughout the day, including Mentor Moms and prayer with the officers. During the day, they will also enjoy a chance to worship with church staff. In the evening, our women will enjoy the opportunity to meet up with our female Global Partners around town at various restaurants to enjoy a meal and fellowship together. Register to reserve a seat at a table of 8 (including a Global Partner) at your favorite restaurant! Table appetizers will be provided; additional items will be paid for by the individual. Registration required.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 25

Wednesday night we will share a catered meal in the Fellowship Hall and we will hear a panel of Global Partners sharing how God is working in and through them as they seek to live on mission in their unique cross-cultural context. The Youth are invited to a separate pizza dinner at the Youth Building. Drop off for the youth is at 5:45. They will eat together and then walk up to the Fellowship Hall to join the adults for the Global Partner Panel. Kids (crib to 4th grade) will check-in downstairs by 6:00 pm, eat dinner, and enjoy a Kids Program of their own!

Meet Our Conference Speaker

Dr. Lloyd Kim is coordinator of Mission to the World, the mission-sending agency of the Presbyterian Church in America.
A native of California, he graduated from UC Berkeley with an engineering degree and worked as a consultant with Ernst & Young before getting his M.Div. at Westminster Seminary in California and his doctorate in New Testament studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. He was associate pastor with New Life Mission Church (PCA) in Fullerton, Calif., before joining MTW.
He and his wife, Eda, a physician, served as missionaries with MTW for 10 years, first in the Philippines and then Cambodia. There, they initiated a new church-planting work that grew to a team of 20 working in multiple sites.
Dr. Kim was elected coordinator of MTW in 2015 by the PCA General Assembly. MTW focuses on making disciples and multiplying churches in over 100 countries and under his leadership has been sending an increasingly diverse, multi-national missionary force across the globe. The Drs. Kim live in Atlanta, Georgia, and have three adult children.
