We Believe in a Gospel-Centered Life

God’s picture of the church is not simply one involving weekly Sunday morning attendance. He calls us to love Him with our whole hearts, souls, minds, and strength – all day, everyday – but He didn’t leave us to do that alone. A Gospel-Centered Life is one in which we constantly see our need for Jesus as broken men and women. We believe that we have a Savior who created us and who pursues us, who redeems us, and restores us.

Together, as the church, we remind ourselves and one another of God’s truth, contained in His Word, and we share that Good News with those we encounter as we seek to be servants of all. We believe that God's plan for us is found in the Bible, the authoritative and dependable Word of God. We are a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a family of churches subscribing to the biblically-based Westminster Confession of Faith.

Philosophy of Ministry

Our Philosophy of Ministry is based on Christ’s Incarnation. Christ came in to us in the carnal body (in the flesh) to restore our relationship to God. And not only did Christ come to us, he became sin for us. Not only did he enter our own dirty world, he got his own spotless hands dirty in the process.

We serve each other and the world around us by becoming the very hands and feet of Christ. In order to imitate him, we have to be relational. We have to be incarnational. We have to get our hands dirty.

As we are incarnational and “do life” with the people around us, we initiate with them, identify with them, and invade each others’ hearts with the gospel so that we might live in an honest, broken, and authentic community where Christ through his grace reigns as King.
