Local Outreach

Mr friends
Meets every Tuesday afternoon from 2-5pm
at the MRPC Community House.

We have begun an afterschool program for elementary aged students based out of our new Community House. Volunteers assist students with any homework, play educational games, teach Bible stories, provide snacks, and play outdoor games (when the weather is nice), all while showing God’s love to these children. The program has begun with seven children and we look to expand during next year’s school year.

Bel-aire Community Partners
First Fridays
November 5 - 5:30-8:00pm

Join us at our next “First Friday” with Bel-Aire Community Partners on Friday, November 5th from 6-8 PM! We’ll meet you at the basketball court at 28 Seth Street at 5:30, play games, lots of basketball and will be serving pizza for dinner! First Friday’s are a time when the community of MRPC and the children and parents involved in Bel-Aire’s ministries get to interact, play and eat dinner together. We have the opportunity to join Bel-Aire in their goal: “Building relationships with our neighbors is the heart of what we do!” Join us as we build relationships with Bel-Aire!

Email Becky at bhecht@mitchellroad.org if you plan to come or with any questions!
