Support Piedmont Women's Center
This month our church is supporting Piedmont Women's Center in two practical ways:
1. Baby Bottle Fundraiser: Pick up a PWC baby bottle at the Women's Ministry table in the Commons. Take it home and keep it for two weeks. During that time pray daily for the PWC ministry and then return the bottle at the Ladies' Night Out on January 27 filled with a donation. Many people fill the bottle with the change left in their pockets at the end of the day or write a check. If you are unable to attend Ladies' Night Out, return the bottle to the Women's Ministry table on Sunday, January 29. This fundraiser helps provide free, limited ultrasounds for PWC clients. Statistically about 80% of women who view an ultrasound picture of their baby decide against abortion.
2. Baby Shower: PWC requests new or gently used newborn size onesies, sleepers, clothing, socks, diapers, wipes, shampoo, soap, blankets or quilts. PWC volunteers will use these items to make "Bundles of Joy" for the new mom and baby as a gift of love from neighbors in the community. The bundles have an approximate value of $150 and have been an encouragment to many new moms who are struggling emotionally and economically with their newborn baby. Bring your unwrapped items to the January 27 Ladies Night Out or to the Women's Ministry table in the Commons no later than Sunday, January 29.
