Ron Hardgrave - Facilities Manager
Ron Hardgrave, Facilities Manager, has a tough job that is just perfect for him given his background and experience. Ron came to know the Lord just prior to entering the Navy in 1971. He says his experience with the Navy was so beneficial, it taught him more than his engineering classes did in college. Much of what Ron encountered while working for the Navy during his eight years of service prepared him for the work he does for Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church.
Ron is a committed husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife, Rhonda, have a son, Rane. Ron’s children, David and Amanda, are from a previous marriage. To date, Ron has been blessed with four grandchildren!
A BAMA fan when it comes to College football, Ron considers Alabama his home although he was actually born in Charlotte, NC. At one point in his career, Ron was doing bi-vocational pastoral work at a small church in Alabama. During this time he also worked in sales and consulting for a computer chip manufacturing company.
Ron is active with the Civil Air Patrol as the emergency services officer and trainer. He also teaches emergency response for Greenville County. Ron has a true heart for service, and he enjoys associating with those that serve others in a full time capacity.
