Musicians Needed! Mitchell Road is currently seeking string players (cello, violin, viola) bassists (electric or acoustic), percussionists, and keyboard players for the 11 am service. Our vision is to provide players with the chance to use their skills to serve the church on a bi-weekly basis. Please contact jmckenna@mitchellroad.org if you are interested.
We are blessed to have a growing need for new homes to host community groups beginning this September. Groups meet on Sunday nights from 5:30-7:00 pm. Anyone interested in learning more about hosting a group is asked to contact Mark Reed, mreed@mitchellroad.org. Below are areas where hosts are needed: Sugar Creek, Pelham Falls, Mauldin, Greenridge area, Five Forks area, Riverside HS area, Simpsonville, Near MRPC, Downtown Greenville, Eastside HS area, Eastside YMCA area, Furman/Pebble Creek area.
Next Sunday morning, August 7, in both services, we will observe the Lord's Supper. Please prepare your heart for this sacrament and come ready to celebrate Christ's love for us. At this service we will receive an offering for the Deacon's Fund.
Next Sunday evening we will have our First Sunday Celebration. Plan to join us in the Sanctuary at 5:30 pm. Afterward there will be a sweet treat for the whole family.
