Jered McKenna - Worship Leader

As Worship Leader, Jered McKenna’s musical talent stems from joyful thanksgiving to the Lord. Creativity flows through the Worship he leads, which is typically at the 11:00 service as well as the “First Sunday” service each month.
His worship selections deeply affect individual hearts in a meaningful way. Jered’s worship line-up includes talented musicians with a unique flair for instrument or voice. Jered appreciates old hymns set to a folksy tune and is quick to admit music’s ability to foster a deep sense of community.
Jered came to Mitchell Road in October 2010 after graduating from Georgia Southern University. A talented piano player and guitar player, he is also active with children’s ministry. Jered is married to Katie and has a daughter. He always has a smile on his face, is funny, and authentic. You may even see him performing downtown with other musicians or with his wife, Katie, from time to time.
