Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry at Mitchell Road seeks to engage students in the Greenville area by sharing the Gospel and encouraging them as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. It is our hope that as we initiate, identify and invade the lives of young people, they will be challenged by God’s grace to grow in the discipleship process.
Junior High
Students in grades 6 - 8 meet Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm in the gym. Parents pick up their children at the Youth House at 8pm.
Senior High
Our High School students meet every Sunday night from 7:30-9:00pm in the Youth House.
Discipleship Groups, Sunday School & More
The main way our students connect with one another is through Discipleship Groups. These groups are led by adults and designed for students to study the Word together, pray and have accountability with one another. Sunday school also allows our students to be challenged to take their faith more seriously and to strengthen their relationships with Jesus and their peers. Retreats and camps held throughout the year give students even more opportunities to grow closer with one another and our Savior.
Serving Locally & Abroad
Each week a group of high school students serve as leaders during our Wednesday Night Jr. High program. Both the Jr. High and Sr. High students are engaged in serving the Greenville community through various local mission agencies. Additionally, each summer both groups of students go outside of the Greenville community on mission trips.
