Caroline Almand - Director of Children's Ministry

Caroline Almand, Director of Children's Ministries, approaches her work in ministry with a bright smile and a thankful heart. With over 200 children consistently participating in our children's ministry programs, Caroline gets to experience first-hand the Kingdom fruits from significant growth in our children's programs at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church.
Caroline began full-time ministry with Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church in August of 2011. Previously a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher with MitchellRoadChristianAcademy, Caroline brings a heart for educating children in a fun and meaningful way. Her Sunday morning programs and Wednesday evening programs are often combined with a mini-curriculum meant to be shared with the families of the children who participate. One of Caroline's goals is to develop a program that follows the current sermon series and the three commitments ofMitchell Road. Joy radiates in the faces and hearts of the children who participate, and leaves them excited to come back and experience community atMitchell Road.
Caroline has also worked as a Child Life Specialist for the Greenville Hospital System and volunteered at an orphanage in South Africa sharing the love of Jesus with 1stgraders. Her passion for children shines through her ministry at MRPC.
